dvd to ksvcd in mencoder?
 

using mencoder dvd://1 -OPTIONS you can rip directly from DVD...
Does anyone of you have some good command line options for an KSVCD?

btw:
there should be a size limitation for avatars *g*

why do you use 2 passes? is it for better bitrate prediction? (i thought that the matrix is for quality-bitrate adjustments in around current frame encoding).

forgot to say that the script can handle http:// source, but i need to put a trap into script to handle mencoder premature termination.

2 pass = nearly exact final size (+-1 MB maximum I would say) + better quality!

how do you specify a size? - there is no option for size in mencoder.
another crap - in fact i have to dump stream from network or device 1st, cause currently mencoder can't encode audio..
