KVCD: An error with directshow?

Trying to cut a 1.2 GB of Mpeg2 in two parts the MPEgtools of TMPGEnc gave me an error caused by directshow. How can I solve this?
(part of this file maked as try works very good on my DVD standalone, but does't works in Windows media player).
Please help me!

Thanks

TMPGEnc do not need directshow for opening a MPEG2. It can handle it directly.

How are you doing the cut in tmpgenc? Do you use the "mpeg tool" menu that you can find in "File" ?

Yes I Use mpeg tools by file menu and choose Merge&cut

It's weird. BTW, go in "environnemental settings", open the "VFAPI" tab and unckeck the box "Direct Show Reader". Try again like this.

If it works, you should chek again the box but you must lower the priority of directshow to -1

if you read my post on italian forum you can see the procedure I followed to perform my mpeg file; in enviromental direct show reader is cheked and priority is -1, I can't try now; when I unchek I must perform cutting or only re-chek before cutting?
There is an other prog to cut mpeg file? Could my file be bad?

In fact I never saw TMPGEnc was using directshow for this feature. Perhaps it's normal, I don't know. So it's possible your file have a problem.

Question : do you cut the mpeg file (audio + video) or the m2v file ?

I cut mpeg (audio+video)
