encoding black borders?

I am using the V3 script for all my KVCDs and I was wondering if TMPGenc
is encoding the black borders which may be making my files larger. I am new at this, but I have heard things about removing the black borders before encoding and then re-inserting them later in other forums. This seems pretty hard and u would really need to know what u are doing. My question is: Is this already being done when using the script? Thanx

Yes tmpgenc encode the borders but they use very small place compared to the picture itself (let sayd less than 1%). And as they are ABSOLUTLY necessary in order to have a correct aspect ratio when you will look the video on the TV, let them where they are :-)

What you hear, if you understood well, is COMPLETLY IMPOSSIBLE. You can'tadd something after the encoding.

The script cut off the existing bars, filters the image, resize it, and then add new bars to keep the correct a/r for the encoding.
