Optimal Script for miniDV to KVCD?
I need to convert some home movies to KVCD.
Am I better off using the Avisynth 2.08 script or the MA 2.5 script? The last time I did this, I used the Avisynth 2.08 script, and added the line fielddeinterlace (full=false) Immediately after the avisource line, as I was getting noticeable interlace effects otherwise. If I use the MA 2.5 script, can I used decomb.dll and add the same fielddeinterlace command? Thanks, Icarus |
If you want to use Avisynth 2.5 (as you should  ), make sure you get the latest Decomb, version 5.1.0 I think.
If you have pure interlaced video (I think that you do), you might want to try FieldDeinterlace(blend=false). I like that better than the default blending, although it may show some jaggies at some spots. |
Thanks Boulder, I will try to use Avisynth 2.5.
What script do you use though for DV to KVCD conversion? |
