Trying to make my own compatibility test?

I have had a lot of family members and friends wanting to know if it plays on their palyers so i want to make a compatibility test with more resolutions and so forth and a different soucre

I have all the same ones as the kvcd compatibility test(except for the source obviously)) but for the life of me i can't find what the max bitrate for ulbr template is.

Also any suggestions on what else to add besides the 544x480

Thanx

Hi bigggt,

For ULBR, use 900Kbps for MAX.
Other than all the resolutions that we've tested, I don't think there's much more to try :)
352x240, 352x480, 480x480, 528x480, 544x480, 704x480 and 720x480.
That's about it, regarding playback on DVD players.
You may go below 352x240 for PocketPC/SmartPhone type displays.

I didn't think there was much more i just wanted to make sure :D

Also, remember to set to the latest changes :!:
That is, "motion estimate", and also check that you have the KVCD "Notch" matrix. Back when I did the ULBR template, it was set to the original KVCD matrix. So check that. And of course, with the current MA script, the quality should be even better for a full 360 minute encode :D

:o We are using motion estimate search instead of high quality!
What do I have to change in ToK to use it automatically?

You have to edit the file: Video.en1
Look here: http://www.kvcd.net/video.en1
