every time i load an avi file and go to save audio as wav i keep getting this error: no audio decompressor could be found to de compress the source audio format.im using the full processing mode to get the audio.
i checked the file in gspot and it said the proper codecs were installed it
islabled as 0x0055(MP3) ID'd as MPEG-1 Layer 3. im sure its a codec prob but im not sure what to do

YOu have a MP3 codec installed and Virtualdub complains about a MP3 codec ? There is an error somewhere.

Check you avi with the tool called "Gspot". It will tell you exactly what codec you are missing.

If audio is ac3, dual. How can you say besweet what track to process?

besweet does not read dual track avi. And FYI it handle very badly the avi in fact (big peak in the first second that make the sound near to zero for the remainder of the track if you use "normalize" option :-().
