Xvid to KVCD audio/multiplexing problem?

Please forgive me if this was discussed before, but I'm new to creating KVCDs. I've been searching two days for a solution then I came here.

I have a Xvid movie 25fps and vbr audio 157kbs 48000Hz. I extracted to audio to a wav file using vdub. The I created a video only avi using vdub and then made a vdr file. Using BeSweet I made my wav into a mp2. and made the vdr file into a m1v. I then tried to create an mpg by using the mpg tools in TMPGEnc using the simple multipex function. I loaded the m1v and the mp2 and an error comes up about after 7% saying illegal mpeg audiostream. I tested the small mpg that did manage to make it before the error and everything was fine video and audio. Out of frustration I loaded the m1v and the mp2 into TMPGEnc's main screen and started to create an mpg. Will this work? All the guides I come across tell me to multiplex. What did I do wrong? What can I do to convert Xvid to KVCD? Thanks a lot in advance...

You do not need to use fileserver here. TMPGEnc take avi as source without problem.

For sure but you encode a mpg from a mpg. That is a second generation encoding and it VERY bad ! Use the original source, that is the avi !

You surely dfo somethign wrong in doing the mp2. Can you explain this part a little more ? Which settings did you choose in Besweet ?

Because you follow a very bad method. Which guide did you read that give you this tricky way ?

I learned that you had to encode the avi to a file with a .vdr extension for tmpgenc to read it from here. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/55434[/url]
Because of an "Incompatibility between the xvid codec and TMPGEnc"
For BeSweet I used this guide http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5486
And to make a long story short I used this guide also http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....t=moviestacker
I used the template in TMPGEnc "KVCD-ULBR-352x288-_PAL_-PLUS.mcf" I live in the US, but I used PAL because it's 25fps. Check Here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/divxtovcd.htm

I hope this helps you understand

Forget that, it was perhaps right but not anymore. At least I never have this with mast Nic's Xvid codec release.

That sounds good.

Okay. But you should use an avisynth script to do the job insteed of using the avi directly as source.
Go there for instance :

That still not explain you muxing problem.

You should try with an other source, just to be sure you are doing it right.

Note : you will need to have avs 2.52 and all necessary plugins into the directory "plugins" of avs.
(necessary plugins are : ATC, BlockBuster, Convolution3DYV12, DctFilter, Deen, Gripfit_YV12, Undot, mpeg2dec3 (for BlindPP))
Where can I find these plugins? I couldn't find them all at avisynth.org.

They're all here :

www.avisynth.org/warpenterprises

Make sure you download the ones for AVS 2.5x :!:
