KVCD: How to get .d2v and .mpa from SVCD?

using DVD2AVI i think i should be able to get .d2v's and .mpa's from SVCD's, however i'v looked thru all the options in DVD2AVI and can only find "save avi" under the file menu and this gives me an .mp2 and a .avi?

Is there a setting i can change or somthing to get a .d2v file rather than an .avi??

all u do in dvd2avi is file --> save project
