Encoding: Vob to vcd or svcd ?

what can I use other than dvd2avi then tmpgenc to convert ripped vob files to vcd or svcd?? as tmpgenc doesn't want to load d2v files. The process will have to be from using the vob files as I don't have the original disc any more.

Depends on what you want. You can use any premiere plug-in with Mediator. So you have a choice of AVI, frameserving, etc., for output.
Just load your VOB's and select your output.
