I tried to right click on the size bar and unlock it.. it doesnt work?

Hi Christian,
If you're using KVCD templates downloaded from the site, you don't need to unlock anything in order to change resolution. So go ahead and download kvcdx3 template. Cheers |
the reason i ask is that.. i want to change the kvcdx3 resolution from 528x480 to 544x480... cuz my DVD player doesnt play with the original config.
thanx. |
What's the problem?
If using KVCD Templates (and they're not locked!) just go under Setting / Video ... and change the resolution. |
Two ways to unlock a setting in TMPGEnc:
1) Left or Right click on the TEXT LABEL e.g. "Size:" (not the box with the actual setting) and a drop down box will appear with two selections, "Lock" and "Unlock". Choose "Unlock" and a little warning box will pop up about creating a non-standard file or something. Click "Yes". OR 2) After loading your KVCD template, hit load again, open the folder named "Extra" then select the unlock.mcf template. This will unlock all settings in your current template. |
Hi
100% agree with Saurus but the kvcdx3 templates are already unlocked. Christian must be doing something else wrong. |

Now that I opened kvcdx3 ntsc I can't agree more with Saurus. It's just that the PAL templates come unlocked in terms of resolutions. Go ahead and use Saurus advise. Cheers |
Thank you thank you thank you..
I got it.. testing see if different resolutions will work with my unit.. |
