Sry didn't read whole post just parts of it(drinking all this beer made me a lil dozy today   ) So i just comment on parts I can ok there pal(I almost hate you as much as you do me but d&c is one of fav movies so have to give points for that).
[quote] Bighead, you're a real piece of work pal [quote] Actually stands for Big(6'0 240 pounds) 2HD(HHD intials), but call me what you want i don't care i who know am(go ahead people fill in blank  ) Code:
The only reason I took the liberty of openly poking fun in my previous post in this thread, is because you have earned/deserve it, and have constantly been begging for such treatment for awhile now by way of your recent conduct here, regardless of whether or not you're even aware of it...and I personally think you are fully aware of your annoying behavior and have just been having some fun at the expense of others!!!! ).I think what spawned this current masterpiece post and dectective work is the pm I gave 2 days back adout drunk post(put 3 laughing signs in a row) And that was if anything a compliment, I set my self up there and you hit me with a nice joke   There was no malice in there at all, like I'll say again, I have cynical sense of humor that sometimes gets out of hand, I mistakes just as any1 else, so deal with it dude or better yet don't. Don't help, Don't notice me, Don't reply act as if I don' exist(some of you are way ahead of that right  ). Cause I tell you what you come incorrect I gonna do same(and then only do I "deserve" what i dished out to recepient) so all I can say is brace yourself dog. [quote](*note to all: see any of big2hd's posts since mid-December for numerous fine examples of him being warned for various forum violations including cross-posting, WAREZ violations, improperly placed AVI posts, and, more recently, a boatload of immature, sarcastic remarks and/or cheapshots directed at more members than a person[quote] I think we can be honest here and say that this is whole situation happened on account of my not reading the rules and Dialhot not clearly stating them(at time i didn't know disclaimer, Dialhot did so all he had do is say get rid of blah-blah and would of been done like that in minute). [quote]Big2hd, since you so clearly love to be spoon-fed your answers rather than actually thinking on your own, I will tell you how you've looked to most of us: ridiculous[quote] I guess there is alot ridiculous people here than d&c, but in fairness some things I didn't get I alot stuff I've should of got(like multi svcd to kvcd, still laugh about that!), but hey that's why I come here, I never heard of question not worth asking, epsecially something that you personally want to get good at so you help others when they might need help k? [quote]Numerous times, various members (myself included) have tried giving you warnings (both subtle and otherwise) about the errors of your ways (not only concerning the KVCD process, but also regarding your general poor behavior/conduct towards others), but you've either conveniently ignored the warnings,[quote] That's just str8 up lie there bro, but if you want to say now I should stop using icons so than do so, don't make s!@t up. As for acting my age? Well I try to act it as much as far as can, but I slip just like anybody else so please with the respect the elder thing dude. If your older than me then I'm sry mister angrying you're sensative nature. [quote]So without even saying the title of your movie, you have basically just openly and blatantly admitted that 1) the movie you are asking for help with converting is a commercially available one, and 2) you do not personally own that movie. And that equals movie piracy (yet again! ), plain and simple! You may as well be openly saying, "Hey, I just shoplifted this merchandise and am looking for help fencing it"[quote] I didn't say that, you're implying you don't have a clue about bro. Quote:
[quote]You've already told us several times that you were done with the verbal sparring, but lo and behold, for some strange reason, your comments keep p!ssing people off.[quote] As for a few forum straglers that like to rouse people, you seem to be the only 1 p!@sed here. The only 2 people that should be pissed here is kwag and dialhot. You're tha 3rd wheel bro. Quote:
This has to be 1 of the most active topics and soooo off topic not funny rather than simple private messages or chat amonsgt each other like MEN and say blah blah that's right blah blah. don't that you wanna try ban me  And I have to tell all I have made amazing strides making kvcds(probably near 150) it's just I want learn these automated programs to squeeze out the quality out of each 1 I make that's all. I think asking questions is not really that bad. I'm not gonna walk on egg shells to ask extra question when I'm not familar with process completely!!! And for the parties to lazy to read(don't blame ya ) I'm sorry dialhot and Kwag. Dialhot for insulting you, and Kwag for al this off topic bulls!@t. Quote:
Oh yeah can close thread if want kwag looks like this program just doesn't work, I'll cq by hand now and got some good results  |
hey guys,
I don't want to open a new thread for more or less the same topic , so I just post my prob here, though this thread is somehow damned :D I did about ten encodes with 2 or 3 dvds :!: , using dvd2svcd, cqmatic and dvd2kvcd and always got a 40-60mb oversized file. Just a short summary of the settings! movie length: 112min 20sec Output Video-Stream=Mpeg1 (PAL) Resolution=352x576 MaxBitrate=2500 MinBitrate=64 (varied, either 64, 300 or 57% of avg. bitrate) AudioBitrate=128kbps stereo Matrix: KVCD-Notch Avisynth-Script: Kwag's Optimal Script optimized for DVD2SVCD by Dialhot (just commented MergeChroma out) TMPGEnc-Settings: CQ-Mode; Padding enabled; Gop-Structure: 1-25-2-1-25; VBV Buffer Size: 40; Detect Scene Change enabled; Motion Estimate(Fast); Floating Point DCT enabled; No color conversion; use read avs.dll ticked (anything else unticked in advanced settings of dvd2svcd) here's the dvd2kvcd-log for the recent encode: Code:
=== DVD2KVCD Lite (0.2) === but that would just make a difference of about 8mb in final size. so anything else is just not working correctly. but i don't know what, or maybe i'm doing something wrong and don't see the forest for the trees. :? Any hints would be appreciated :!: thx in advance! Greetz, Crackhead |
I have the same problem as Crackhead. My source is an AVI and CQMatic predicted a 79.08 CQ value. The imput I put into Calcumatic was 160 kbps audio. In the end, the video file is 827 MB coming out of TMPGEnc and the audio is 100 MB, obviously too big. I've read in a few other posts that CQMatic doesn't work well with AVI's. Should I still use CQMatic for AVI's or should I move to another prediction method? If another method, which one would work well for AVI's?
EDIT: The videolength is 83 minutes on a KVCDx3 |

But when it fails, you can still use manual prediction. |
