BBMpeg in DVD2SVCD

A new member.
Hi, i'd like to know what exactly bbmpeg does after the mpeg encoding, I know it miltiplexes audio and video, but why it has so many options on its settings or the .ini file like gop, matrix, i frames..., buffer, etc. And what's the difference between TMPGEnc's mpegtools and BBMpeg? Mpeg tools has any kind of quality loss?

It's better to encode the audio and video separately. Encode the video with TMPEG, and the audio with headac3he. Then multiplex both streams with BBMpeg. Follow the screen shot a little down this thread: http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....6e07d81b5385c7
