What are the setting in tmpgenc that I need to change to get the aspect ratio right? or do I keep them the same?

I just read over this thread after a lengthy abscence and can see that I was starting to "get it even back then. I say that because I now have a hard time understanding what I said in my own posts. haha.
Anyway, I've decided to get back at it, and get a grip on this fun hobby.
Mysteriously, I no longer have sound synch problems. Or at least the last few were good.
Thanks to one and all for all your kindness to this newbie way back when,
and I hope to see a return to the old friendly atmosphere of KVCD.net.
