I can't stop saying it's great seeing you around again :D . Fair enough in terms of mp2 vbr. That should mean it's not inside the specs. For a minute I was wondering if russian friend had found it in the specs. Obviously I misunderstood. Cheers mate |
i found the links if you want test:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61808 http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...0&pagenumber=1 but i will try in the next few days this guide: http://hypercubemx.free.fr/html/how_...5_1__svcd.html if you like and want to try, we can start a new thread in audio forum or/and portuguese forum too,ok? :) |
I tested VBR MP2 a while ago on my player, and it played it flawlessly. The problem is on the one hand that the audio size is unpredictable in VBR setting with Headache.
Another issue I think Phil pointed me on this one is that bitrate allocation in VBR MP2 mode is not very efficient. that might lead to the scenario that your VBR MP2 (varying between 96 and 192 kb/sec) could actually be of worse quality than CBR @128 or 112kb/sec... :? |
