Error message when Appending two AVI Files

I have a movie that fits on 2 AVIS with AC3 Sound. When I try two Append CD2 to CD1 I get the Error...

Sampling Rates are incorrect. CD1: 55999 CD2: 56000.

How can I modify the Sampling Rate Of an AC3 audio stream?

You can do this but only externaly. You'll have to demux audio from both files, and then .... wait, you want to encode as AC3 again, or recode to mp2 :?:
If you have alot free space on HD then save video streams from both files, then join them under VD to one video AVI.
Demuxed AC3 streams you can encode to AC3 or MP2 under BeSweet (AC3 only in not latest version zB 1.5). There is Open source AC3 / DTS delay corrector and cutting utility in this doom9 thread, maybe it also joins AC3 (I've never try this), and for sure there is MP2 joiner. I try to find one :) Maybe MP3cutt(?)
What vesrion of VD you using? Regular VD or VDMod?

WAIT, FOR AC3 JOIN DON'T READ ABOVE

HEre is guide form doom9.org

. How can i join AC3 files?

Let's say you want to join stream1.ac3,stream2.ac3,stream3.ac3 into stream.ac3.
create a listfile. join.lst:
stream1.ac3
stream2.ac3
stream3.ac3

Use BeSweet :

code: BeSweet -core( -input join.lst -output stream.ac3 -payload )

This will also work on CBR mp3 files. Note - Since BeSweet v1.4, this process requires VOBInput.dll. get it from BeSweet's PlugIn Page.
Maybe this will work.

I want to use the origin ac3 audio track no converting to mp2/mp3. So I will give the guide from doom.org a try.

I use virtualdubMod 1.51.

I will soon report about it!

Thanks for helping me

Where did you find ac3 sampled at 56Khz ?
The standard values are 32,44.1 and 48 Khz ! -96 for a DVD-Audio and SA-CD).
