problemc converting video encoded in Xvid 1.0 to kvcd?

Anyone had any problems converting something encoded in Xvid 1.0 to a kvcd?

I managed to fix the playback on the computer through ffdshow but get jumpy playback. I've made dozens of KVCD's in the past and I know that it's not hardware compatibility.

The source is 25fps 48khz AC3.

I keep the 25fps & downsample to 44khz MP2. I've never had problems until installing Xvid 1.0 so that leads me to believe it's the upgrade. I use TMPGEnc and Headac3he for the actual kvcd conversion.

Any information is appreciated.

I do use Xvid 1.0 RC1 in case of some long time taking capture sessions and I had never problems. Btw I use as FourCC the Xvid mpeg4 codec himself as decoder.
