KVCDx3 MPEG-2 with CCE?
Hi all! first of all i'm from spain, my english isn't good, excuse me.
Well, i made a SKVCD with CCE without problems, but now i want to make a KVCDx3 (MPEG-2). Should i only change resolution in avs (from 352x576 to 528x576) or CCE parameters must be different??? I take a look to TMPGEnc templates of KVCDx3 and SKVCD, and there are two differences, the resolution and this line: SKVCD -> MPEG.Video.VBVBufferSize = 40960 KVCDx3 -> MPEG.Video.VBVBufferSize = 114688 So, how can i change this parameter or some parameter similar in a CCE Ecl? It's necessary? Thanks |
Hum hum.. the difference you report is if VBV buffer that is 40 for MPEG1 and 112 for MPEG2. That means that you compared the SKVCD template (that is MPEG2) with the MPEG1 KVCDx3 template (and not the MPEG2 one) ! That's why you had 2 differences.
Else you just have to change the resolution. Note: 352*240 in MEPG2 and CCE ? Jizz... you like ugly results ! Tmpgenc is FAR better than CCE for that ! |
No, i downloaded the 3 scripts (i'm making a program like DIKO) to see the differences between scripts in TMPGEnc. This is the VBV buffer in the scripts (i'm reading the scripts now :) )
Script KVCDx3-MPEG-1-PAL.mcf -> MPEG.Video.VBVBufferSize = 40960 Script KVCDx3-MPEG-2-PAL.mcf -> MPEG.Video.VBVBufferSize = 114688 Script SKVCD-352x576-_PAL_.mcf -> MPEG.Video.VBVBufferSize = 40960 Take a look at the scripts, it's there. So, i don't have to change nothing in the ecl, only change resolution in avs, it's ok? And for now i'll only test the results, i like CCE so much, but the results encoding 90 minutes with CCE with SKVCD script are, in my opinion,so good. |

You're the first one that point this out :-) Quote:

Ok, i did it. :D
Dialhot, as you told me, encoding with TMPGEnc with KVCDx3 MPEG-1 template gave me the best results, and prediction is more accurate. I only have to implement in delphi the ping-pong algorithm for tmpgenc too (Implementing it for CCE was so difficult) :? Thanks |
