a filter to remove (gosthing?) from and AVI source?

Ok I have this AVI file wich has a minor goshting problem and I dont really know how to handle it, or if its possible to remove it at all since its an avi source. I tried the TMPGenc plgin and it didnt do much, in fact the change was almost unoticeable, any other way to fix it? AVI filters? Vdub process?
I post some screenshots so you guys know better what Im dealing with.

This was probably a interlaced source, and the person who did the AVI encode did not deinterlace before encoding (very bad practice)... You can try some deinterlacing filters (like tomsmocomp, for instance).

Uhmm first time Im using such kind of filter, could you tell where to put it on the script? or any recomended value for the filter using it with Optimal AVI script V4? thanx in advance

Despite what vmesquita told you, chance are very poor to remove this.

You can read something about deinterlacing with avisynth here:

Yes this is true, a while ago I tried to IVTC a movie that was encoded telecined and it didn't work. The encoding process blur the interlacing line, making them less defined, and this confuses the deinterlacer/IVTC filter. But it doesn't hurt to try... :D

Gentlemen, "IF" that above in the pic is the 1:1 scaled avi state.....
... then the interlacing is def. destroyed!

Because the horizontal Linie-by-line interval isn't linear anymore, you can see the horizontal artifacts WITHIN the combing.

So the person who did encode that, first didn't deinterlace properly BUT on the other hand did scale the frames before encoding 8O and IMHO he encoded "Framebased" = "mega 8O "
