MPEG-1 muxer that can handle KVCD streams ?

Hi, i need your help, i'm looking for a MPEG-1 muxer (command line muxer not bbmpeg) that can handle KVCD streams.

vmesquita uses in DIKO 'mplex'. It's useful with KSVCD streams but if i use it with KVCD, it goes crazy :(

@vmesquita:
you are looking for mpeg-2 splitter,aren't you? With mplex, using this command line: mplex.exe -m -s 795 ... maybe works, try it.

There is a command line version of bbmpeg that DVD2SVCD uses.

Thanks dialhot, i'm using bbmpeg cli and now it works fine.

About bbmpeg and mplex, I think that you are wrong (of course i'm not sure). mplex isn't the same as bbmpeg. Mplex is a mpeg muxer included in the package tyStudio, and when it try to mux a mpeg1 vbr stream, it asks me for a max data rate. On the other hand, bbmpeg first analyzes the streams and after it muxes them. Maybe the code is similar, but they are very different muxers.

If i'm wrong excuse me :P

They both use bbmpeg.dll and are just 2 different front end GUI for the same tool.
But you are probably not talking about the same mplex as me as I never heard about tyStudio.
The mplex I am talking about is this one :

Try it. Very similar to bbmpeg don't you think ? ;-)

I belive it's the mplex from the transcode distribution he's talking about? :?

I'm talking about mplex from mjpegtools. Now i find the another mplex (different programs with same name :roll: )

And yes, the mplex like bbmpeg works so fine with command line, thanks
