KVCD: 528 vs 544 resolution?

Hi a friend of mine just bought a Toshiba sd-430v and when i pop the kvcd test in everything works fine but

When i play a movie at 528x480 the video is a little screwed up but at 544 it plays perfect. Is there any disadvantages to using 544 over 528 or should she return it.

Also when i put in an svcd it says disk error is this normal

Thanx

I din't post this in the standalone forum because i really want to know the disadvantes of the two resoultions

Thanx

Just choose 528 OR 544 according to your SAP's compatibility, thats all.

How was that Svcd encoded??? Using Stand.Specs?? Or KsVCD? Did you try several different ones?

Thanx Incredible ,i only have the one and it is just a standard svcd with regular specs

Every SAP "should" at least support Svcd's at stand.Specs, so I really assume you got a bad mastered Svcd or maybe a bad media.

Probably true but it plays great on my 3 dvd players ,could it be that this particular dvd doesn't like the brand of cdr
