good alternative MPEG multiplexer to TMPGENC?

Does anyone know of a good alternetive MPEG-1/2 multiplexer to TMPGENC (TMPGENC Takes almost an hour for me) that will maintain my a dvd compliant MPEG-2 format.

Why do you want to mux if you are doing a DVD ?
All authoring programs deal with elementary streams (that is audio and video apart).

But if you have time to loose : bbmpeg.

I have that app, but I don't see where you can load a mp2 and a mpv2 file. All I see is where you load an avi file?

Hey Dialhot you must can read minds; I just clicked the submit button and blinked my eyes and Bam! A reply.

Damn you're quick! 8)

But if you want, you can use mplex taht is a carbon copy of bbmpeg :

Hi johnson636,

Get this: http://www.kvcd.net/downloads/mplex.exe
It's easier to use than BBMpeg, and it will do what you want.

I used CCE and a script that only allows the video to be encoded. I would normally use TMPGENC to multiplex my MPV2 and MP2 files and then burn to dvd. TMPGENC takes a while to multiplex (26mins to multiplex and another 26mins to rewrite the header) and I'm lokking for an app that will work as good as TMPGENC but in less time.

Hope this helps you to help me :lol:

I'm going to have to program something into this forum:

In pseudo code:
Code:

if  (kwag_logged_in)
{
  if (dialhot_logged_and_posting)
  {
      delay_dialhot_posts( 10_seconds_after_kwag );
      post( message );
  }
  else
  {
      post( message );
  }
}
