need to learn how to make KDVDs

ok I've burned and made a ton of kvcd and understand what they are, but I normally use ACP and have it all automated. I just bought a DVD Burner and now need to learn how to make KDVD's. I tried that diko program with no success. I get 50 million error messages. I got Cinema Craft Encoder sp and the templates and can convert avis without audio. Now what should I do with audio????
Do I use virtualdub to sav a wav then convert it with headache.
End up with two diffrent files. then use dvd authoring software to burn the dvd, or do I have to combine the audio and video back together. Can I use CCE to do the audio? I see it looks like theres a way to.
Thank

You don't need to do that as almost all DVD authoring software handle video and audio separately and will demux them internally if you give to them muxed streams !

No ! Use a tool that is well know, for that : besweet or headac3che.

Not so much questions indeed ;-)

Starting from a stero avi, go to wav with virtualdub and then to mp2 with besweet (don't forget to upsample to 48Khz !)

If the avi has ac32, just demux it with virtualdub and use this stream for your DVD.
