But how do progressive Streams do look we all know as they do not come with combing. And an interlaced sample you see right above in the thread. NTSC real interlaced or Telecined ....... and PAL real interlaced or field shifted .... all these do result in combing, so again showing combing pictures won't make it clearer :) If you got questions on special parts, let me know. They can be expl. easely and if its needed I will add that shurely in the guide! :) |

Well, u should ask Sharfis_Brain, but I "assume" that the layer command needs YUY2 input, but that can be read in the avisynth.org manual.
Maybe the latest build of avisynth supports YV12 in Layer() ?! But that will not guarantee that the function will work the same, so testing discovers everything ;-) But .... as you live in sweden ... is that a concert NTSC DVD you are dealing with?? (just interest of mine) |
Well, ehrm... it's "adult entertainment". :roll: I've been trying to encode this DVD many times with many different methods but nothing seems to work. The DVD is very mixed (NTSC/Film) and I thought I'd give it a try with Sharfis_Brain's function. Don't know yet if it solves my problems. That remains to see. :wink:
