From an ogm file, is it possible to make a dual audio kvcd?
 

I was wondering if i could get some anime on dual audio kvcds with english subtitles on the second audio.

Is this possible? and how so?

Yes it is if you are muxing your KVCD in SVCD mode and not VCD.
SVCD standard allows up to 2 audio stream .

Use bbmpeg, set both AS1 and AS2 (audio stream 1 and audio stream 2) settings and the VS (video stream) of course and mux as always.
You will have to burn that as a SVCD of course.

Note : you can use either MPEG1 or MPEG2 as video format, SVCD standard support both of them. But watch out about what your standalone can play !

i bit of a problem
 

i downloaded it but it was supposed to be v1.24 beta 18 but if i go to about it says that it's v1.24 beta 13. Anyways i dunno if this is a problem but i cant seem to find many different options im going to fool around somemore maybe look for a guide. TY though

Run bbmpeg, you will see Window Title avi2mpg2 - v1.24 beta 13, don't worry about that. Just press add, in opened window press cancel (this is for a bug, if you don't make in this way, later, the program will close itself. There is a XP patch for download). Now press start encoding. Windows title now ¡s bbmpeg - v1.24 beta 18. Press settings, input and output files tab, select your files like said you Dialhot. Later select Program stream settings, select SVCD, change forced mux rate to 0. Press accept, press start, and muxing will begin.

it says i dont have the codec
and i get this error

Windows Media Player
At least one of the pins involved in the operation is already connected.

Gspot cant find a codec for it

any advice :?

1 - Have you DVD hadware/software installed. Don play it with wmp. Play it with any DVD player, or BS Player or any other software.
2 - If 1 don't work. Search web for elisoft codec pack, and install it following instructions.

I'm not 100% sure if i installed everything in it though, my french isn't that great :? . Would there happen to eb an english version?

So anyways i still get the same error, when i open it with Media Player Classic i get this error.

Yes the file does play but i only get audio, no video :( . I can switch between both of the audios in the file.

except when I get to step 3, I use the SKVCD NTSCFilm
352x480 for TMPGEnc template.

I also have this question. When bbmpeg asks for the end seconds, do I do this based on the original ammout of seconds or the ammount the file says after i encode it with TMPGEnc?

The original. But if you don't intend to cut the file simply leave all these fields at 0.

ok after installing that codec pack i noticed that i cant play the original ogm file.

Download and run Avicodec

In codec and filters tab I have (and you must to have) as following:

Video
Audio
DirectShow Filters
Most important: You can't miss: divx, xvid, mpeg1, mpeg2 video decoders and splitters neither ogg, ac3, mp3, mp2 audio decoders. Also Windows codecs.
If you don't have any of these codecs or filters, go to programs, elisoft codecpack, utilities, codecs control panel and filters control panel and select those that you need.
