more memory give little (or none) differences, you need more cpu than memory to encode faster! |
its weird like its already using 326mbs at 26 % at of encoding.
|
What do you mean with memory? Do you mean temp-space on disk, or physical RAM?

If so then your CQ is too high ,did you use prediction post your movie details here lioke length- type of movie(action) What cq you are using what resolution you are using |
Sounds like a problem with an avisynth filter/script.
I've had this problem once in a avs-script when i tried to use a buggy new filter. Please post your script if you are using one or try without filters/avisynth. |
Which TMPGEnc version did you use?
If the 2.59 download the newest because this version is buggy and the file were too big. |
Sorry to waste your time but when I looked at TOk at the part where you choose the no. of cds used. I clicked 2 instead of one. Right now after TOK automatically activated TMPGENC, my mpg file with the movie name is about 700mbs. The audio is also out of sync. Do I feed the mpg TMPGENC produced, when activated by TOK, without being encoded into TMPGENC again?I'm trying to make a PAL kvcd at 544*408. Possible?
Thanks for your help! :newbie: |
544x408 is not a valid PAL resolution.
Have you read one guide on this page? Probably not. People are trying to help you in here, but you don't answer any of the questions regarding your "Memory" problem... |

[quote="wowiegurl"]Sorry to waste your time but when I looked at TOk at the part where you choose the no. of cds used. I clicked 2 instead of one.[quote] After I changed it to a 1 vcd conversion my file is now 711mbs. BUt the sound is out of sync. Is there a guide to fixing this in tmpgenc? Am I supposed to use Tmpgenc again for this file? Because I unticked No encoding in Tok as stated by Black Prince's guide, and when I hit start Tok automatically used TMPGENC. If I burn the mpg now will the sound be in sync when I play it in the dvd player? |
excuse me...now i'm asking and answering:
"Have you read one guide on this page? Probably not." and you wrote: "My answer [quote="wowiegurl"]Sorry to waste your time but when I looked at TOk at the part where you choose the no. of cds used. I clicked 2 instead of one.[quote] " ...this is not an answer, this was a "parcial solution" that you got ! but the problem remains cos you need to read the guide again and will see how the audio is extracted and muxed ! |
Hi JOrel,
This is my first attempt at making a KVCD. In Black PRinces guide all it tells you is this for audio Quote:
Please help me!! 8O :? :book: |
where are you muxing the video with audio?
in tmpgenc? if yes, change to bbmpeg and adjust like posted here, only change to svcd : http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2224 but..... like Jell posted:  "544x408 is not a valid PAL resolution." you are going to the end but need to restart if was choosed that resolution! :( |
deleted - double post

"binding the audio with the video?"
yes,..load the audio and video in bbmpeg and get the mpeg muxed ! PAL KVCD ? i read that you wrote: "I'm trying to make a PAL kvcd at 544*408. Possible? " no... ---> 544x408 is not a valid PAL resolution :!: take a look in your script , need corrections in the "resize". Jell can help you about that ...i encode ntsc, not pal sources ! please, answer the questions cos my english is horrible, then do another question if needed ! my conclusion is that you are "binding" in tmpgenc and not in bbmpeg! do it in bbmpeg, ok? you edited the last post ? :? |
yeah double post. So I can use the mp2 file I made of the video in headac3he & bind it with the video produced in TMPGENC in BBMPEG?? You have great English Jorel. I don't see what the problem is.
|
Or......... do I use the avs file with the audio file in BBMPEG?? Afterwoods can I burn it straightaway, or do I need to refeed it through TMPGENC? You have great English Jorel. I don't see what the problem is.
|
the mp2 from headac3he and the video encoded from tmpgenc.
take this 2 files to bbmpeg and mux! i'm still thinking that my english is horrible, you can't understand me...see the reason:  3 times posted, maybe 4: 544x408 is not a valid PAL resolution :!: if you don't change it maybe don't work in your standalone player :!: |
ohh that bit... don't worry I have changed it  but I didn't update that post. If I used the file made by TMPGENC wouldn't there be 2 audio files playing at one time? 1 in sync, the other out of sync?
