Legal video sizes?
Hi Guys
Great forum and hopefully this wont be the dullest topic ever 8O My DVD player is listed on the compatibility list (Cyberhome AD-M212, M512 - 352x240( 288 ), 704x480( 576 )) so all is well :) What I want to know is if 352x240 - 704x480 are the theoretical limits of the film size then can I set the resolution anywhere inbetween? Or can I only use certain legal film sizes eg 480x480 etc. Any help would be appreciated :D BTW Im having most success using the CQMatic/TMPGenc route as a newbie Ive tried other methods but keep getting weird errors or I get stuck. Cinemacraft seems ok but I dont want to buy it and dont want that bloody logo on everything. PS) Thanks for your time. |
to be honest most players these days will play everything you throw at them.that said i think ur best option to create a test cd containd a few videos with different resolutions.see what ur player can play.welcome to kvcd.net forums :D
