TMPGenc aborted the encode?
I just did "Heat" , 172 min widescreen (excellent movie  ) with the 352x480 template and 320kbs surround sound ---> 1.4 gb total!
Kwag, I got lazy with Mediator and when it asked for the # of frames I said 400,000. After the movie was done encoding, the progress window in TMPGenc said it was 60% finished and I aborted the encode. I then muxed the audio and video and it's perfect! Also I configured the video server plugin to save the audio to .wav instead of demuxing with Mediator. |
Cool
Is the audio/video in sync throughout the movie ? -kwag |
Well, I didn't watch the movie straight through, but I watched a few minutes of various parts of each cd and the audio/video sync was perfect.

161 Minutes on a single CD
I recently put The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, a full-screen children's movie 161 minutes long on a single 80 minute CD. I used a much modified KVCD3 at 352X240. The movie is at least as good on a 36 inch TV as a standard VCD and I only need one CD instead of two.
The grandchildren are happy anyway. I used CQ of 22 and max bit rate of 2000. I set the overscan to 2, which does show some borders on the 36 inch TV but not on the 27 inch that my grandchildren use. Jim |
