TMPGEnc: 50-minute file becomes 30 minutes after demultiplexing?

Hi what toggles would I use in tmpgenc to prevent shrinkage of a file? I get an m1v file and it is 20 mins shorter than the original file. When I demultiplex to get mp2 the same thing happens. THe file is an NTSC file.

What you describe seems impossible. Be more specific.
You have an NTSC MPG-1 file right? And you demultiplex it with TMPGEnc. And you obtain a MP2 file and a M1V file which are BOTH 20 minutes shorter than the MPG file?
Have you checked that they are in fact shorter, or is the time indicator only messed up?

okay I just tested with vcdeasy and vcdeasy shortened my file. Dunnno why. I reconverted it with vcdgear and everything seems in proportion. Sorry about this post. I still have the same problem where after I merge the whole file together then demultiplex the sound dies after 9 mins then restarts during the 2nd half of the movie. But if I demux each part A & B indvidually then it works fine. ANy hints?
