Packshot Produced a 'bitrate too high' error in DVD-Lab
Hi Inc,
I recently ripped an episode off my Simpsons DVD and converted it in Packshot. I forgot to one huge VOB and 2 VOBs were ripped so I converted them one by one. I used the DOS command copy /b movie1.m2v + movie2.m2v But this produced a bitrate too high and DVD-Lab produced an error warning me of this. Both the movies m2v files were 2001 kbps which is fine but when I merged them with that DOS command i got a bitrate of 13219. Obiviously the DOS command doesnt work is there another way I can merge the two video files, the audio files seemed to merge o.k. Any info on my prob would be a great help. Thanks. :) |
I never knew that merging files will affect bitrates
Well a) Which Version of DVDlab do you use?? As DVDlab related to compatibility SUCKS! :? I do use MaestroDVD and TmpgEnc DVD Author ... as I had also other Probs when using DVDlab in the past. b) Wich max Bitrate did you enter in Packshot? |
I have the Pro version 1.4 beta 1.
I noticed another prob after authoring. It starts playing the the Simpsons Intro Music and freezes half way through. :( I dont know why :?: |

Check your VOB with Bitrate Viewer, and see if you see a big spike at that point. -kwag |
Thanks for the info Karl, I used the bitrate viewer built into DVD-Lab and it did produce a spike.
