Mencoder: AC3 decoding with Mplayer/liba52 gives error

Playing a movie with mplayer I noticed this error on the screen. The bits inside the ** .. ** are what bothers me (I added the **). I have an SSE capable cpu - why isn't it being used? What does the "unable to get.." bit refer to?

Ahh - damn it - I found the answer - I was using a mplayer build with cpu detection. This seemes to switch off sse usage. i changed to a mplayer build made with p3/p4 optimisations, and the error went away.

No. Let it there for future reference if others have the same problem.

Thats why I changed the title of this thread to a more "subject related" one as Phils comment makes sense and so others can find this explan. much faster :)
