KVCD: Color problems, picture is green and fuzzy?

I finally figured out ( or I thought I did) how to convert a avi to kvcd and skvcd. I used tmpgenc to encode and vcd easy to burn. The cd was burned ok and was around 600 megs. It plays fine on my computer, but when I try to play it in my dvd player, the picture is green and fuzzy. What could cause that and how can I fix it?

Thanks

Adam

HI Adam did you check if your dvd was kvcd compatible

Seems your player doesnt like out of standard resolutions when doing your (k)vcd's!

So which mpeg type did you choose (1 or 2 ) at WHICH final resolution :?:

I had exactly the same problem on my older standalone which only accepted 352x288 authored as standard VCD .... AND 480x576 as mpeg1 but muxed as mpeg2 system stream (header trick) .... 528x576 didnt work for me as in that case I got exactly the same wrong "green" output as you.
