Number of posts?

How come I'm showing as having a post count of around 80 (at time of writing) when I've made around 130+ posts? Is something up with the forums?

Maybe when DIKO thread deleted all our post number go down.

Yes Prodater is right.
Also be aware that we're putting up a site maintenance to erase any evidence to warez or Divx/Xvid sources with the "in the wild" names.
Such posts are being erased an any user that inadvertedly posted such content will also see his posts being erased, but only those.
This is something that has to be done in order to keep the forum safety.
Cheers

This erasing of evidence thing.....So you have a thread where someone mentions a warez file.... that post gets deleted as part of the clean up....

2 questions spring to mind:-

1) Will all the posts in the same thread get deleted too (I mean the ones that only replied to the warez one, but don't mention warez themselves)? Cos you'll either have threads that make no sense with the initial question removed, or you'll have loads more threads just disappearing (and people's post counts dropping even more). Some of these threads may actually contain useful, helpful information for non-warez users.

2) Is this to be an 'automated' sweep? Could be clumsy if it is - especially if people have only made posts that point out things like "downloading file xxx from edonkey/kazaa is bad". An auto sweep might view that as a warez thread.

Yes it is. Thats is why moderation is done by humans and not automated process. We can (and will) decide what to do according to each situation.
More often, only the post is erased.
