KVCD: my DVD player is incompatible with KVCD?

Hi.
When watching movies encoded in "KVCD-CQ-352x288-(PAL)-PLUS" on my DVD, they appear fine the first 20 minutes. Then they start to show strange aritfacts and the audio and video becomes jumpy.
What is wrong, is it my DVD beeing incompatible with KVCD?

This is the only template that "work" with my DVD, except for SKVCD or mainly all the KVCD encoded in MPEG-2, so I really need to solve this problem...

When I play the movies on my computer they work fine but when I try to fast-forward to the middle of the movie or something the video/audio freezes.

hey,

At what speed do you burn the cdr (4x, 8x, 16, 32x)? I always have problems when I burn at speeds above 8x.

Also what brand, model dvd player do you have?

I tried it on a CD-RW at 12X.
My player is a HoYo DVD-8050D.
My CD-RW drive is a Memorex 40MAXX 40X.

I would try burning at 4x or use a different brand of cdr.

Tried it with a normal CD-R and recorded at 4X and it worked!
Thanks alot!!

Maybe it was the CD-RW that was strange,
I'll try burning a normal CD-R at 40X later just to see if it works.
