Ok in Windows media, sync problems on DVD player

hi

i've encoded a mpeg file, that works fine in WMP, but when i burn and play at the DVD player ( sony Dav-S300 , Pioneer dv-525 ), make the sound play after the video, about 1 or 2 secs ?

Any ideas ?

I've posted this question in the Tmpgenc forum too... but no answer

help :(

I too have this problem, the audio gradually get further behind the video.

I have an alba 113 doesnt like svcd but i have changed the file headers in those with 100% success.

I burned the encode with nero using video cd so it would play in my player which it did.

Also the picture was jerky at regular intervals.

Anyone have any ideas on this

Thanks

@Nude_Nut and @pacodoni

Hello!,

There are a couple of things you can try:
Change your MIN bit rate to 600Kbps, and re-encode a small clip. See if that fixes it.
You can also re-mux with BBMPEG as SVCD to see if that works.
You can change the VBV buffer size in TMPEG and re-encode.

Try these by making smalll one minute clips and try them out in your DVD player.

If none of these work, probably your players don't like the extended resolution. Then you can try encoding with the template but at 352x240.

Thanks Kwag

Already changed the settings to pal 352x288 as thats what i am using and it sorted out the jump and sound,

maybe my dvd player will like 480x480 as thats what the svcd i have changed the headers on were done in.

Thanks anyway and i love the template.
