well my player will play the lbr template the and vcd template and kdvd
that is it all other templates it just plays in pinkon the screen :cry: |

You could still probably raise your MAX bit rate to around 1,800Kbps and have better quality than a standard VCD. You could also try one more thing, and that is to encode as MPEG-2 instead of MPEG-1 at higher resolutions. You might want to try encoding with the SKVCD template and then burn as non-standard VCD. Don't burn as SVCD. If this works, you'll have a very high quality video, almost as sharp as SVCD, but with over 60 minutes of play time on each CD-R.
