Toshiba 1800
Hello!
I got a stand-alone DVD player for christmas, the Toshiba 1800, and it doesn't seem to like playing KVCDs. Does anyone have any suggestions what i should do to try and get it to work? When I put one in now all I get is a bunch of noise and lines of video all over the screen, like there is something wrong with the CD, but I know there isn't anything wrong with it. The toshiba plays normal VCDs burned on the same CDRs no problem. Any help would be great! Thanks! |
Toshiba 1800
The Toshiba 1800 is the sucessor to the Toshiba 2800. My 2800 plays the KVCD templates at 352x240. I've tried most of the templates and they have worked but ONLY at 352x240. (I don't think the X3 templates work.)
If you are still having trouble be sure that you are not burning your VCDs at more than 4X. Try downloading the new sample disk image (posted in the forum) and burn at 2X. BTW, my toshiba didn't realy like the "blue" disks, it seems to handle the [Walmart] silver CDRs best (and HP's CD-RWs). I'm burning with VCDEasy on both a Sony burner and some off brand that I don't actually know the name of. |
toshiba 2800
yeah, my 2800 works also, but only at 352 x 240. which means that i can't do x3 as the resolution is higher.
anybody able to do x3 on a 2800? |
