problem with samsung dvd3e player

this great combo (vhs+dvd) can play _any_ of kvcd templates (for res bigger than 352x288 it's necessary a svcd-remux w/ tmpgenc)
but there is a boring artifact w/ resolutions 528x576 and sup.: in high-action scenes it appears some "echo" in the top of the tv screen (and only there), like little lines that cannot refresh correctly...
I tried to tweak some parameter, e.g. highering the min bitrate, lowering the max bitrate, lowering the vbv, but w/o succes :(
any ideas :?:
thanks in advance

Change your encoding resolution to 544x576

One more try MAX,

Try encoding to MPEG-2. Maybe that will work

YEP! it works! :D
thanx once more....
but, now a very "newbie-like" question:
w/ mpeg2, do I have to change anything in tmpgenc?
since now, I used beta-1 matrix, new gop, CQ method w/ max 2500 & min 300, vbv 40....
and what about "encode mode" and "dc component precision"?

last thing: in avisynth I use normal filters "package", legal bilinear flux bbnoise addborders and legal, do I have to change anything?

thanks thanks thanks again (I tend to be repetitive :D )
