KVCD on Pioneer DV-414
 

My brother has this older DVD player and according to VCDhelp.com it cannot support XVCDs or SVCDs, only VCDs. One user did mention however that the max bitrate could be pushed up to 1300. I still wanted to try some KVCDs on his system, probably changing the resolution to VCD quality (maybe even 352x480) and bringing the max bitrate down but still incorporating the gop and matrix changes, plus avisynth filtering. Has anyone had any experience on this machine, or have any other hints? BTW, at such low resolutions, what filters should I use? I'm used to basically only using SpaceDust and TemporalCleaner when at KVCDx3 resoultions.
