wmp9 had far less blocks viewing avi ?

sry a little off-topic but i really need help. I was watching one of my divx movies at my friends house with wmp9 and it had far less blocks than when i watched it on my computer (windvd4). I have tried playing it on wmp9 and it still didn't help. Any idea what the difference could be?? (we both have nimo codec pack installed)

Thanks

i have no idea what that is, but if you could tell me what must be done to make mine look better it would be appreciated.

First download Zoom Player
http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml

Then you can look at the filter properties by right clicking on the movie while its playing...

Then you can see what filters are being used to decode the movie and you can change the options on some of the filters...

yeah, those dot's "." are a feature of ZP and I like using (setting of) at 50%
to 75% as its purpose is two-fold..

1, it gives your clips a Film-like look, and
2, it' also serves to HIDE some of the artifacts you see on those bad clips.

Sorry I can't remember the exact Key to call up the dialogbox - - thought
it used to be "D" but it's not working for me. I was sure it was.
