DVD will not play on Windows 98SE computer?
@Anyone,
My friend is an avid Trekke fan and has bought many Star Trek DVDs. It seems his Trekke movies play fine on stand-alone DVD player, but will not play on his compaq DVD rom. He can play other DVDs on his compaq without trouble except "Star Trek". I tried his DVD on my Dell XPS and it played with no problem. Has anyone had this same problem or know what could be the problem. I think it could be the DVD software is not recognizing the header track on the DVD and therefore keeps spining to find the starting position. He uses Windows 98SE and the DVD pc player came with the compaq computer. Any ideas? -bp |
Hi bp,
It's probably the DVD player on the Compaq :!: -kwag |
@Kwag,
My player detects the DVD and plays it fine. I guess he needs someone to convert it to KDVD and then it will work? I think I'll suggest that to him. Image only his backup works :) Thanks Kwag for you quick answer :wink: -bp |
