Norcent DP-312 and Apex AD 1225?
Anyone have stats on these players? Both are on sale at Walmart now for under $40. I tried a search for these players but came up empty handed. Thanks.

Apex 1225
So far I am un successfull at playing KVCD's at a resolution of 240x480 however I am able to view KVCD's on this player using this template http://www.kvcd.net/KVCDx2-CQ-704x48...Film_-PLUS.mcf using a resolution of 704x480
Also It will play any SVCD encoded with this template http://www.kvcd.net/SKVCD-352x480-_NTSC_.mcf If anyone else has different results please let me know. |

<EDIT> http://www.kvcd.net/SKVCD-352x480-_NTSC_.mcf worked for my APEX 1225 as for the other one i wasnt able to get it to work but it may be my encoding newbness oh yeah...i'm pretty sure that KVCDs do not work at all on AD1225 :/...i've tried it many times and to no avail...skvcds seem to work if the resolutions are right |

aight...i was able to find another skvcd template that worked with Apex AD1225 what i did was edited the tmpegenc template at http://www.kvcd.net/SKVCD-352x480-_NTSC_.mcf to have a resolution of 480x480 and it worked fine...the movie was a lil glitchy but think that was the sources fault el_mero_zooter: you might wanna check me on this one tho :/ i am new to this and all |
