For $100, Magnavox MDV450 Works with VCD and SVCD
 

The Magnavox MDV450 is pretty basic looking, but is honestly one of the best investments i've ever made. It came with a remote and has almost all the options my $250 Toshiba DVD player has. The best part is, it plays everything you could think of....CD-R,CD-RW,VCD,SVCD,DVD,DVD-R/DVD+R,MP3 Audio etc. Now, i found out it plays KVCD templates! 8)

You can't really go wrong with this baby, the price & options are just right!
