play kvcd on Ordinary standalone VCD player?
 

Hi, I am Stephanie from Singapore. I am really working on this matter for my job as designer. I own a VCD player and it can only play a VCD version 1 , 2 and 3. I encoded vcd with the kvcd pal template and when I play it to this player the picture was fine but became jerky and loosed some frame...The default setting on the template was using the Auto VBR (CQ VBR). The VBV buffer size is 40kb. I think my player is made from Hong Kong or China, I am not sure but it does play excellent if using a normal setting tmpge's template. Will someone teach me how or whether I need to change any setting to make my mpeg movie really work on my VCD player. I know If I play to DVD player shouldn't be a problem. So please help me to fugure out.

did you check the player compatibility list on the main page to see if your player was there? What brand is it?
