KVCD: anything over 352x240 is jumpy in DVD player?

I have a dvd player cyberhome 300 ,i know everyone who has it says it plays all resolution great but for me anything over 352x240 is jumpy.I have tried switching from Ntsc to pal to auto and so forth but nothing gets rid of the jumpy motion for me.

Anyway i am so used to the kvcdx3 template is there anything io can do to the 352x240 template to improve the quality.

Would it make a difference for example to raise the bitrate to 2000 or anything like that

Thanx

You can use ANY template at ANY resolution you want.

In other words you can use the KVCDx3 template and set (into tmgenc or better, with the avs script) the resolution of your target to 352*240.

Thanx Phil ,but if i were to use a max bitrate of 2000 instead of the recommended 1800 would that give me better picture or no,i doubt it but just wanted to ask :D

Thanx

You will have in high action scene. The idea is to raise the max untill that makes the CQ going too low. Give the priority to the CQ !
