Recently I have authored a few DVDs in TDA and IFOEdit. The MPEG2 came from DIKO/CCE and TMPGEnc Express. They most often have problems when I use the fast forward/backward in my standalone player.

When I finished for/back-warding, they just resumed from the point where I started or they just went back to the beginning of the current chapter or even to the beginning of the title.

Commercial DVDs never have this problem on my standalone.
Do anyone know what is going on?. In TMPGEnc, I take the option not to close the GOP when encoding. Is it the reason for having problem in fast forward/backward.
Some ideas please

Send a message via ICQ to incredible
- GOP Sequence Intervall header
