i hate impatient people who ask for help and provide absolutely no details and then have the nerve to say something like that when people try to help.

My, my....aren't we a negative-nancy!

Well, take this gerrycurl21!

Look, I'm truly sorry you were havin' troubles and that no one seemed to have a solution to hand you on a silver platter, but you're not gonna win any friends with that kind of attitude....I, for one, certainly won't be adding you to my buddy-list anytime soon (lest you apologize and ask nicely ). Maybe you should try posting that same question at doom9's forums and see what kind of responses you get over there.

Not everyone will always know the answers to your questions, but at least you had someone (mind you, a complete stranger!) who, out of kindness, showed an interest in trying to help you out....and you gave that person a whopping 2 days to solve your problem for you before acting like a spoiled child. Ever heard of "bumping" a thread? If not, look into it friend (although a "bump" after only 2 days might even be frowned upon in some forums!...patience is a virtue). Of course, another option would have been to have politely told everyone to nevermind because you had solved your problem by yourself (that's always the best way, if/when possible)...and if you reeeeeeally wanted to be a nice guy, maybe you could have even shared your solution with everyone in hopes that it might help someone else who runs into the same problem as you in the future. But I guess you got what you wanted, and afterall, that's what's truly important in this world, right? <end rant>

Have a nice day,
-d&c

lol, only when i post my reply people start the thread up.
Sorry if my impatience angered some of you, its just that im a new member to this forum and on other forums people usaully answer quite quickly. And if you wanted some more information on my situation, you could have easily replyed and asked.

Back at the matter of hand, instead of using vdr for a video source I hardcoded the subs into the video w/ VirtualDub(TExtSUB) with audio disabled. Then i saved the audio as a wav and loaded them seperatly into tmpenc and 20hrs (3hr X2 to hardsub,7hr X2 to encode) later i had my finished product. Yet even though i wished to skip the hardcoding(thus the thread) I have my Versus in KVCD.

That's strange gerry, because the response in this forum is usually light years faster that most other forums
Maybe it was a bad day You shouldn't have played lottery that day either
