IcyDock hot-swappable enclosures, extra trays, need HDD backup help

I was discussing a back up strategy for my external hard drives & their content.
and I was suggested this; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000KMD1JA of which I just recently bought.
instead of these; http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...ocks&x=19&y=13 I dont like the look of them, they seem flimsy & I was told they were.

I also bought one of these; http://www.amazon.com/Silicon-Forens...609385&sr=1-28 to have my backup bare hard drive carried & stored offsite.

But I have discovered that the icy dock enclosures have a tray that screws & from this youtube video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9EARJuAdW3w & it looks like the hard drive is meant to be permanently attached to the removable tray.

Would a hard drive with this tray left on fit into the hard drive transporter I linked to? how do I store the bare hard drives with the icy dock tray attached to them? will they fit standard bare hard drive storage boxes? like these? http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...+case&x=19&y=7

& with multiple back up hard drives, these trays that are left screwed onto the hard drives would get expensive like these; http://www.amazon.com/Xtr-Hrd-Drive-...608795&sr=8-29 & http://www.amazon.com/Icy-Dock-MB559...9609006&sr=8-1

it seems the icy docks have this as a system where by they are made hot swappable by having the hard drives permanently screwed to these trays.

I suppose to avoid the expense I could screw & unscrew the bare drives from the trays, but to me they dont seem to be really truly just swap in & out when my backup hard drives are brought back home to update. where I could just slide them in & out of an enclosure for the overnight backups, this is what I want.

are there any other good truly hot swappable enclosures that are better than those plastic docks that I linked where the hard drives are sticking out, I dont like the look of those, they look flimsy.

Some enclosure where I could just slide the hard drives in & out?

Just screw/unscrew as needed.

I don't think that exists any more than a flying car does.

Those are flimsy and won't last. Worse yet, it's easy to knock the drive out, and watch it bounce on the floor.
Not an ideal situation.

Nope.
