MSVCR71.dll problems..
I was trying to download one of my video programs, and this error came up..
This application has failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. I did some research on that online and it seems to appear alot when .net framework 2.0 isn't installed, however I have that and the service packs for it, and 3.0. 3.5 frameworks as well as all the service packs for those also all installed. I can't figure out why it's doing this. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this fixed? Thanks |
Instead of "download", I think you mean "install".
See what happens when you reinstall the .NET 3.5 Framework. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Do a "repair" or "force" install if the option is available. I don't remember what choices are given when installing. I've not installed .NET in many months. UPDATE: Your PM seems to indicate the problem is resolved, the item being installed is not actually needed to run the software. Therefore I would not mess with .NET anymore. |
