DVD Burning software link available?

I recently bought a Pioneer DVR-X162Q DVD burner.
You were right...I shouldn't have installed the software (Roxio Venue Suite) that it came with. In short: it didn't work.

Is burning software still available somewhere on this site?

This link is apparently out of date

Roxio = crapware. They try to do too much, and as a consequence, end up doing terribly at all of it. Those "our program can do everything" apps are generally pretty dismal, as you have to take shortcuts to integrate what are usually unrelated processes. Multitasking is a myth, even when the computer is the one doing the work. You do one task well, or several tasks concurrently and NOT so well. Period, the end.

You seem to have copied a link in short form -- not the "..." in the middle.
It's been broken somehow, somewhere. I'd fix it, if I knew where it was, assuming it's on this site somewhere.

Indeed it is. And you'll find it on the above linked thread. However, Imgburn has some weakness (easy CD audio burning, for example) and areas where other programs are needed.

Check out that full list: http://www.digitalFAQ.com/forum/show...html#post11011

I'm Nero-free and Roxio-free, and plan to stay that way. :D
