Superman Menu - New TDA Tricks

After a few days of playing and trial and error and searching, I've figured out how to do a cool new trick in TMPG DVD Author. Yes, I know it's something other programs can do, but I still like TDA and will one day take the time to use other programs (time) being the key word.

Anyway, I figured out how to make custom frames in TDA. I'll post some instructions in a few days, but you can see the results below. I made a quickie set of the New Superman cartoon and the show thumbnails are in the shape of Superman's S shield.

Each episode thumbnail plays 60-seconds of the fight with the episodes main villain.

Nice menu! I'd definitely be interested in seeing how you created the new frames.

I told LS months ago you are the master of TDA, somehow you keep figuring out how to take its limitations and turn them around

So when are you going to write a bunch of TDA guides for me? :)

I'll do one tomorrow for the video frames. After some newsgroups searching and trial and error, I found out you can have 3 layers to a video frame. I think I can do some interesting things, will experiment tomorrow.

Sounds kind of like the method of using Adobe Premiere to render video clips before insertion into Apple DVD Studio Pro or Ulead DVDWS2

It will be interesting to read!
